1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Babe's Bookstore ("we", "us") and the purchase of book bundles from this website. By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What we sell

We sell curated bundles of electronic books. Every book we sell is either in the public domain or carries an open licence (such as Creative Commons) that permits redistribution. We do not sell — and never will sell — copyrighted books without permission.

You are buying the bundle: our curation, formatting and convenience. The books themselves remain under their original licences, which travel with your download. Some licences (for example CC BY) require attribution — a licence and credits file is included in every download, and those requirements pass to you if you share the books onward.

3. Your account

You may browse without an account, but need one to purchase and re-download. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account. We may suspend accounts used for abuse, such as reselling our bundles or automating bulk downloads.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party providers (Stripe, PayPal, Square, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We never see or store your card details. Your payment is subject to the provider's own terms as well as these terms. Prices are shown on each bundle page and include any applicable VAT.

5. Downloads

After payment you receive a download link for the bundle, usable a limited number of times within a generous window (shown at checkout). Downloads are for your personal use. You may keep copies forever and share individual books in accordance with their licences, but you may not resell our bundles.

6. Refunds

Because our products are instant digital downloads, your 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 ends once downloading begins — you acknowledge this at checkout. If a file is faulty or not as described, we will repair or replace it, or refund you. See our Refund Policy for the full detail.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or retire bundles at any time; this never affects purchases you have already made. We may update these terms — the "last updated" date above will change and material updates will be flagged on the site.

8. Liability

We take reasonable care in preparing our bundles, but books are provided "as is". Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the bundle concerned.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If a court finds any term unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
